User Groups
Privileges can be set at the user group level as well as on the user record. A user must belong to one group only. We will look at some of the privileges that are defined on the user group level. The user group grid view is a convenient tool for viewing and setting a selection of user privileges.

Discover how to restrict Nominal items on sales documents using Quick Edit within the User Groups grid view.
User Views
Discover the utility to copy views, personalize, and impose row and column restrictions on user views. The copy feature speeds up user setup. Row and column restrictions serve as an additional feature that can complement the user record options of 'This user can customize view's columns' and 'This user can customize view's filters' to control the data visible to a user on grid views.
Discover how to duplicate an entire set of user views from one user to another, a highly beneficial feature for users in similar roles. By default, non- Administrators have a minimal set of grid views. This utility speeds up the process of getting new users up and running.
Learn how to hide columns on user views eg customer balance is hidden on customer grid views
When a column restriction is working well on a grid view and you need to copy it to other users, use the Copy utility.
Much like column restrictions, the row restricitons feature limits the data visible in the grid view based on specific data conditions, such as displaying only Cash Customers on a customer grid view.
When a row restriction is working well on a grid view and you need to copy it to other users, use the Copy utility.
